Are your facilities Licensed?  

A

Angels Care Family Homes are licensed by the Ohio Department of Health and are approved by local municipalities’ for providing care in a Group Home setting in the neighborhoods we have developed.

Are your employees Licensed?

A

Resident Care managers have passed a rigorous background check and may have additional nursing skills and licensing.  Their primary role is to run the home, prepare the meals and ensure Residents are safe and taking their medications as needed.  Nursing providers are licensed and employed by local Home Health providers and have also gone thru background checks and licensing.

What’s included in the monthly fee?  

A

All living expenses to include Housing, Laundry, Cleaning, Bathing and Grooming Supplies along with 3 meals a day, drinks and snacks, Medication Monitoring, Dressing Assistance, weekly Nursing Check up and a once per month hair cut if needed.   Medications and Durable Medical equipment such as a wheelchair or walker are not included.

Are the rooms already furnished?

Angels Care is designed to allow our Residents to bring their own bedroom furnishings so they feel connected to their home.  If a family needs a room furnished, we can do so for a one-time fee based on your individual needs.

Who is eligible to stay in an Angels Care home?  

A

Residents’ who are evaluated by our Director of Operation, Stacey Brady, LPN, are eligible to live in our homes as long as they meet minimum health conditions outlined on our web site.  Patients with severe mental conditions or handicaps are not candidates for our homes at this time.

What is the cost?  

A

Angels Care pricing is extremely competitive and often much less expensive when compared to other Assisted Living facilities, 24 hour Home Care and Nursing Home providers.  For a complete review of our cost structure, please contact our Operations Director, Stacey Brady LPN at 513-544-2485

Does Angels Care charge for extra services?  

A

The beauty of living in an Angels Care home is all services are provided for a flat monthly fee.  There are no add-on pricing fees added to your monthly bill.

Does Angels Care require a one-time deposit or long term contract?  

A

Angels Care does not sell rooms and does not require a large one time deposit like some facilities.  We ask for first and last months rent prior to move in.

What if my health status changes?  

A

Periodically, it is foreseeable that a resident may develop a health condition that will require additional nursing care.  Angels Care is able to coordinate this care with contracted Home Health providers for up to 120 days.  This care is billed directly to your Medicare provider by the agency.   Should the condition of a resident change to such a status that skilled nursing is required, the contract will be cancelled to allow the resident to move to a different facility capable of providing this care without penalty.

What are Visiting Hours?   

A

Family and Friends are invited to visit anytime.  If you wish to join us for Breakfast or stay later than visiting hours, we simply ask that you coordinate this with the Resident Care Manager in advance.  Overnight stays are permitted with advance notice thru our Operations Director.

How is the billing done? 

A

Residents are asked to pay for rent by the 28th of the month prior to the month's start.  You can establish automated bill pay or ACFH transfers to our accounts or simply mail or drop your payment with our Operations Manager.  Should a resident need to leave our facility prior to the 15th of the month, with the intent of not returning, a prorated refund will be issued within 60 days.   Refunds are not provided if a Resident intends to return to the home. No refund is due for transfers or move out after the 15th of the month.
